chances are he has a 4 stud to 5 stud conversion spacer? hard to tell... either that or it has been changed to 5 stud hubs....
either way, it was a fair bit of work and cost for a road car (is not a race car only)

moooore pics. used longer arms in the rear to increase track. and looks like custom 5 stud hub

rear flares are made from expanda foam

can see spacer on rear hub here

    That's freaking awesome!

The front suspension is superstrut. or at least a modified version thereof. The stock superstrut is all pillowball joints with no rubber at all (that's why it's so expensive to replace, you need the entire arms, not just the bushes).

For the rear, those arms look like stock arms (my car has them) but there is usually only one that is adjustable, the front is fixed. They are used to adjust toe settings.
I have speculated on the replacement of the fixed arm with an adjustable one to increase rear camber and track, as has been done in the picture. Guess I'll be off to the wreckers.

I don't like spacers, but I reckon I could space the whole rear hub and caliper out from the knuckle to do the same thing.
I'm not looking for crazy hektik supra dish, just maybe an inch or so, a bit more than a flat wheel as is common on FWD.. Whatever I can get with an inch ob body widening.

Is there any more pics of the front suspension? It would be nice to see the mods in more detail.

For the front suspension, there's not much space, even for coilovers to step the whole lot out and retain camber adjustment.
I'm thinking if the wheels are stepped out, it's at the hub.

If the whole setup was stepped out, it would require a fully custom subframe to relocate the mounting points for the superstrut suspension.

Holden Gemini RWD and early 3 series beamers (E30??) run 4x100 in a RWD offset.

With the superstrut design all you have to do is push out the balljoints at the top and bottom with different wishbones. Not rocket surgery.

at the rear, the spacers are for the rims to clear the ST205 rear calipers i think.
the arms are all adjustable (he has price at bottom pf page... like $100 each or something)

couldn7t find any more frotn susp pics.
he mentioned welding but i am not sure what he did.

the shocks and whatever he did to the arms and other locating devices, cost $5000, so i think it is more than just the shocks and 5 stud hub...

TE37 CUP rims have curved spoke sand some dish, but they are limited sizes.. 14" i think..
hmm, i didn't realise there were so many euro and other cars with 4x100

It appears that he is using the stock balljoint location and from what I can see of the lower arms, they look stock too.
The stock items are forged (from what I have heard) so cutting and shutting is a no-go (as with any suspension component).
I doubt there will be any other cars that would have compatible swap, except maybe the Celica, but in comparison with the parts I have, it looks unchanged (well, except the coilover section of the strut).

One of my spare struts for reference (balljoint removed).

Oldcorollas, those adjustable ends are apparently $60 a piece (just for each individual end) from Toyota Australia. Same part as on all AE101 through AE112 etc.
It looks like the hub section where the bearing sits is longer, making the flange where the wheel studs are sit further out. Maybe that whole section in front of the dust shield is from the Celica too?

Actually I think the whole rear knuckle and hub is from a Celica (or different car anyway) as my rear brakes are on the front side of the disc, not towards the rear as he has it setup.

    he said
    今回は、スーパーストラット式での製作だったので、サスペンションアームの溶接費用も掛かってしまいました が、特に加工の必要としない車種であれば、私の購入した金額よりも安くなると思われます。

"this time, on the superstrut type work was done (seisaku datta), so it cost to do welding to the suspension arm (unfortunately), but if there were parts from a model that didn7t require work to be done it would have been cheaper than what i had to pay"

    or something liek that.
so he got something modified by welding.. and he says specifically "suspension arm"
maybe he get the arms modified? not the steering knuckle thing? no idea

    Hmmm. Interesting.

If only we had another picture of the suspension....

Could have been on the lower arm, to moove the figure 8 piece outwards, and hence the steering knuckle.
