hey guys

im new here, im going to apologize in advance, this might be a long post. i got an MR2 last year with a blown engine. it was supercharged to start with, so i swapped in a jdm 4agze and used the electronics in the car running off afm/distributor

anyway, long story short, the wiring the in car caught fire, no serious damage, but it never ran the same obviously. so i decided since the engine i got came with the jdm harness, coils, cam sensor, etc, i sourced an AE101 ecu, and igniter and did the wiring conversion, figured my engine was higher compression anyway than the original from the car, so the ecu would be better tuned for it, just seemed like a good idea all around, plus i wanted to clean up my engine bay and do some polishing anyway

so now im having problem, it runs rich when it starts, before it warms up. and im having a hard time find any info that i need in terms of how the AE101 electronics work and al that.

the other problem, is im not even sure the cam sensor is installed correctly. i have no way of telling if its on the right tooth. it would be nice if i could find that info since i can't really do the timing on it if im not even sure its in right
