The easiest way is to pay someone else to do it.
Use a wiring diagram (easily sourced from the intenetz) and find the wires that need power (probably 5 or 6). They will need constant 12V (direct from battery), IGN on 12V (only has power when ignition is on) or starter 12V (power only when the starter motor needs it). Splice those into the MX10 loom. I can supply MX13 wiring diagram if needed (should be similar). You will also need to modify the wiring for the alternator - it will be internally regulated as opposed to the MX10 one which is externally regulated. Search and there is a thread showing you how to do that.
I don't wire up much so I can't tell you exactly which wire needs what off the top of my head but with a wiring diagram and a lead light, it's very easy to work out.
