12R timing gear pulley same as???

hey all,my flat mate decided to change the timing gear pulley as it has some chips in the teeth,unfortunately it has now broken to bits after trying to get it off and also the one from the spare engine.

Does anyone know if a pulley from any other engine may fit say 18R etc? It is 250mm across.

Maybe try a 2R? Things like 3R are different and couldn't comment on 18R at all.

Ebay dude - sometimes there's new old stock in the USA. Could also try a decent auto parts store like Bursons.

Also try Automotive Surplus here in Melbourne (they have store on Thornton Crescent Mitcham) - they have all sorts of old shit sitting on their shelves (like RS40 pitman arms!). I think they have (had?) a Sydney store as well.

Yeah Bursons reckon they can get them,the fello is getting back to me. I asked my mate at Toyota he said yes but then couldnt remember if it was the 22R he had asked about Should track somthing down soon.

25mm aparently,that may be what he meant when he told me 25mm I naturally translated it into being 250mm across..I think the difference in price is because the crank is made from a shit type of composite,the cam one is actually metal..not sure..

Anyways yeah the 30mm will foul on the timing cover..

Call (03) 9873 3566 and ask for Reg. I forgot to confirm that they were 25mm gears so just ask to be sure.
