Hey boys and girls i recently aquired a 1jz cressida, and the motor has been fully rebuilt with forged pistons, head has been mildly ported and for some weird reason ebay ct12a`s were fitted. the car also runs an ems stinger. After mucking around with it cleaning up all the loose vacuum / pressure hoses (it was a bit of a mess) i got it running and the turbos were seeing about .7 bar. It went ok but i pulled them off and replaced them with the standard turbos as i`ve read bad things about shit chinese turbos.
the car runs much better now, my question is what boost can i reliably get out of them as i want to keep the factory twins. the car has custom twin dumps fitted and also 3 inch cooler piping most of the way round.
any thought?

That being said, when twin dumps, a high flow exhaust, cooler and pod are fitted, anything from 1 BAR (14.5 PSI) to 18 PSI is usually safe.
I run 18 to 20 PSI reliably, but then you have some people too scared to go over 12 PSI... its up to you.
