Nope, the ratio of difference always stays the same (11.2%)

The amount of difference varies though according to speed.

It's not hard to calculate though in your head being so close to 10%, I'd just live with it (but I'm not sure of legalities)

    Eg,
If it says 50, you're really doing a bit over 55, so do 54 in a 60 zone..
if it says 70, you're really doing a bit over 77. So do 72 in an 80 zone.

I have the same box/speedo as the mr2 and run 17's, so my speedo was about 7% out. I got the jaycar kit about 6 months ago and speedo has been perfect ever since. I think it has 1 to 100% increments up and down and is very cheap.

ah yes..didn't see that, mines electric sender/gauge.

I guess either swap sender and gauge for an electric one or I have seen geared type mechanical converters around but not all that common.

    that suxs

The other point of view on this is your wheels are far from being legal.

"Fixing" the speedo is a bit redundant when you'll get defected for the wheels anyway.

    its not cheap

It seems that this is the last of some peoples worries, chances are theyd come off, get cleared, then go back on...and the saga continues
