I'm in a similar situation, rewiring a Mazda 323 with Microtech and relocating the fusebox to the glovebox.
Where do you get all the different coloured wires with the stripes etc?
Gents,
Just wanna know if any of you guys have had any experience with hiding engine bay wiring. I'm looking at DE-wiring the whole engine bay of my newly acquired Z20. There is no engine or box in the car at the moment, but a 2J will soon be going in.
I just want to know if you guys have relocated the engine bay fuse box, under the dash inside the cabin or something and ran all the wiring behind the guards or anything like that. What is the best way to go about doing this? Im not the most electrical minded person in the world, but don't mind giving it a crack.
Any ideas about ways to go about doing this, or does anyone have any pics, or tips in doing it? I want my engine bay to be absolutely free of wiring.
Cheers in advance guys.
Shazbanger.

Hey there mate....
mainly its just extending everything to where u want it to go..... best way ive found to hide wires on the motor is to run them under things and in black tubing near the bottom of the motor, that way there not as visable to the eye
hope this helps

you might also find places to run wire behind the strut towers, have a look for gromets/holes along the side of the engine bay up the top either infront of or behind the strut tower, also consider running wires away from the exhaust side of the bay cos it doesnt do them good being near heat.
What did you lose your arms since thursdayCant use a phone?? gimme a buzz man, i can lend a hand.
Old School: 1971 Datsun 1200 Deluxe Coupe all original... yep factory twin cam turbo
Daily: 2006 Hilux Dual Cab D4D 4WD
Through the rails and under rad supports are obvious ones too... Depending on car, but under and behind where the wiper motor sits and operates etc...
