Thanks for the weekend well wishing.

The going rate for a non vvti motor set similar to mine is about $1800 here, but my exact swap(motor, trans, ecu, harness, maf, etc) usually goes for $2600 to $3500 dpending. I got a hook up cause a buddy had it chilling and just wanted to see something neat done with the motor.

Nah, but a place here on the east coast CLAIMS to have auto JZX100 swaps for $1500...

We have one guy who usually films our smaller events, but this will be a combo event where we (the US Drift series guys) and the usual small event guys run on the same courses all day and then the big event goes through eleminations with media looking on while the "joes" type class does their comp on the back course (the more fun course actually). I am trying to work something out where I can enter both comps caue there is no $$$ prize for the "joes" class and there would be no loss to the others if a USdrift driver placed high in the class. ....I just want more track time!!! LOL.

^ Long story short, YES there will be plenty video. Check back on monday!

With him in it though dude, that's comparable to an MA61 and I wouldn't call them heavy.

3000 with no driver is correct.

Well, no pics or vids yet. JUST walked in and logged in here while waiting on the shower to be available.

I have not checked the USD web site, but I THINK I got 4th or 5th. I was put out in the second round of tandems by a good friend of mine and an AMAZING driver. It was a sorta close pair of runs, but his entry speed was waayyyy better than mine and he generally just out classed me some. (His car is a 500hp stroked SR powered S13 that only weighs 2300lbs also, LOL).

My efforets did however earn me an invite to an event called GT Live...kinda a big deal over here I guess.

Thats all for the USDrift part.

In our local series event (Held simultaneously and leaving me bouncing back and fourth between seperate tracks on site), I managed a 1st place win. I only had one "good" run, but it sure was a clean one. I always do one "conservative" run so that I can go balls out on my others without fear of a reaaalllyyy bad score overall. My safety run was my winning run....wtf.

I will get to working on pics immediately.

Ps. Only problem with car is STILL our crappy homemade shift box extension that will not allow me to make the 3-2 downshift..arrrrr.

EDIT: with some pics to tide any subscribers over till I get good ones of this event.

    One of my grimey interior.

Nice work thats a great result. Look forward to the vids!
How do you find the right hand drive, must be a bit of a trip out going from your daily to this on the weekends. It looks like you have battled a cressy from a couple of the pics, have you got any details on it, know the driver?

Still waiting on vids form the same great videographer guy that did that first vid that someone kindly fixxed for me.

The RHD is no biggy, I daily drive this car aswell, so I stay used to it. I actually have a small problem when driving friends left hand cars.... I will go to reach for MY shifter and smack my hand on their door panel...

The cressy is a fellow ZTr. His name is Ameen and he is a GREAT driver. I learned alot during ECB by watching/following his crazy entrys. The car is 1J/R154 swapped and the wheels are the new Works (XT7?). Car has open dump pipe with no exhaust and stock twins. I love the way it sounds. I wish I would have just done a straight pipe. Other info on the car is that the interior is STOCK with cushy button/tuck seats and the bumper is from some honda or whatever.
