Default 4age oil pump part number.

    Hey hey,

I'm rebuilding a 4age smallport bottom end to stick under a bigport head in my ae82 twincam and i need a new oil pump. The pump i took off the engine doesn't have a part number on it so i was wondering if other people had a number and how many variations are out there ?

Well the smallport 16v oil pump part no. is 15100-19036.

There are a few different part no.s for the bigports so there must be some variation, although you'll probably find all the 16v ones fit.
I want to do your engine conversion wiring for you, PM me.

there are 3 types of oil pumps available for the 4A engines.

here are photos of the inner workings of the early model...... 15100-19025 which supercedded too.....

......... 15100-19026... GUESSING HERE..... it likely equals the finer tooth model pump Bill was talking about

as well as what Bill refered to as the "squarer" tooth model.....15100-19036

I believe the 20V oil pump is a better design and supposed to stop cavitation at higher rpm over the earlier pump. I haven't had them side by side to compare but may be the difference as shown above.
