Hey guys,
I'm looking around for an ignition switch for a TA22 Celica. The one i've got is a bit "sticky" and I need another one to get a car through rego.
Wreckers don't have anything, and Toyota can't help.
Is there another Toyota from the same era that shares a TA22 Ignition Switch?
Does someone have the part number for it?
I need it by the weekend - i've found one interstate, but I kinda need it soon!

Hey mate part number is : 84450-20100 switch assy, ignition.
Why not just pull it out and have a locksmith rebuild it for you?
If its getting sticky put some carbon powder in there too.

Does anyone know the difference between the two?

probly the size and the way to mounts onto the barrel.
when i was stuffing around with my ignition, i found that the ke70 looked almost identical to the ra23 but one was smaller to the other.
Just looking through the catalog RT80-81 also has the same part. have you given your local supplier a call to check te availibility??
What year TA have you got??
the only other option would be to tear it apart and clean and rebuild it.

I thought if there was one that was the same I could pick one up from the wreckers and just slap it in.
I didn't know they could be rebuilt or fixed.
Thanks for all your help guys - i've got the answers I was looking for.
