    remembering, of course, that bellhousing, ECU, and the other bits will mean that it probably works out at a not-cheap option.

    Yeah i was thinking it would be a pretty difficult road to go down.

    Am going to try and weld the key into the crank and hopefully that will keep me on the road long enough to save for a 7m or something.

    Oh and regardless I'd give welding the key onto the crank a go. Very little to lose and can then sell engine as runner...and it is shiny so will prbly sell in trading post etc

    cheers for that wilbo. Just a few questions.

    - will i have to go auto or will my bellhousing bolt up to the 7m?
    - will existing engine mounts work?
    - will existing fuel pump and lines etc suit?

    - Engine mounts are compatible.
