    yup....

    but if you bought the engine from a family member..... (unless it actually is stolen), then it is easy to geta new receipt...

    Straight from the NCOP's - Although whether NSW is using the NCOP's yet is dubious.

    Based on this there is no certification required, assuming section 4.1 is complied with.

    that depends if RTA mean it is an option WITHIN aus or OUTSIDE aus.

    my reading is that it is for engines optioned LOCALLY only, as they have already passed applicable ADR's..

    ie, if you put a V8 in your V6 crumpledoor.... since the V8 was an option locally, and all the associated bits are already certified as such..

    when you start fitting motors that have never passed aussie emissions, and their associated parts (brakes etc) never passed ADR's....

    ie, if a 1J or 2J was sold locally (ie the JZA70) then it is apples (like AE82 and 4AGE)

    The JZA70 has been complied and approved locally (ie, it meets all relevant ADR's), so based on that it would apply.

    oh, in that case i'm totally wrong (complied as in sold in Aus? or via SEVS or?)
