    eh? that's what i meant. $185 for a mechanic to buy and install a clutch master cylinder

    could've been second hand though, can't remember

    Well I called around, and I could have got one from a wrecker for $45. Taren Point Spares (speak to bill) or repco wanted $110 to the public so im gathering trade would be cheaper.

    Hope that's the only problem.

    break down:

    $115 for the clutch master cylinder itself
    $55 labour
    $whatever-is-left for bits and pieces

    Just got mine back, clutch feels sweet.

    Cost breakdown.

    Clutch Kit $145
    Flywheel Machine $35
    1 x 4Litre bottle of gear oil. $35
    1 x Case of bear $30

    Clutch Master Cylinder $92.00
    Labour $77

    All in all I think it was worth it for the experience, anyone who wants any help doing there's in the future. Feel free to ask me all the questions you want to.

    never buy anything like that from repco unless u get trade they rip the public off on parts like that most of the guys there unless there tight arses will give u trade price anyway

    Well that's the price that repco quoted me. Then you can see the price that goodyear sold it to me for

    But if i was to do it myselfm, i would have just gone to the wreckers and bought it for $45.
