It's a gamble really, my 2JZ last year lost out with a HKS pod, to a 2JZ with a stock airbox, if my pod was in an airbox then maybe an advantage, but really, again like tyre sizes I don't think it will make a massive difference. If you are meeting me at Thornleigh Maccas, then it will be an earlier run, ambients might be slightly cooler and you'll do OK. I'd say there would only be 2 or 3KW in it...

I have a slight hankering towards stock box with Unifilter....but totally your decision...

Yes you can register as a member, this is usually the event where all members re-rego anyway as it's our first meet of the new Year, Luke "The Stitt" will be there to take you money and give you your membership goodies(I think)

i have been out smelling and getting mouthfuls of petty all day !!!! i have approx 40L of 91 ULP in the tank, to get rid of by sunday !!!
the celica's are impossible to syhon out of trust me !!!!!

so i ll jus be coming along on sunday for a watch and see !!! whens the next dyno day ?? how long away ! ?

Whay can't you just run it with 91ron fuel in it. It was designed to run it so atmost you'll pick myabe 1-3fwkw with 98 ron fuel in sorry I don't understand why you'd bother.

I threw my rona on last year for shits and giggles, and was quite surprised. not good but not bad for its age.

Or if you are really despirate go buy a good octane booster ie Nulon or something, probably won't do anything but you'll feel good (maybe a little poorer too).

I'm definately keen to get my eyes on another 2J. I'm getting a new airbox and intake piping made up soon, but it isn't getting fitted till Tuesday, just last year, car won't be totally complete again
