My 1UZFE MS46 Crown wagon has a tank that is almost identical to yours. I am considering using a VS Commode setup. Just need to find the time to pull the car off the road for a week.
yeah. thats the pump, but its missing the mounting bracket that makes it run horizontal. that braket also has the sender for the gauge on it too......its bit hard to describe. ill try to find pics....
Man i done a fair few of these pumps....i should be able to describe it![]()

wouldnt a MS112/123 tank just bolt in?!?
i thought the chassis' were nearly identical between all the crowns, and therefore wouldnt the tanks mounts be the same?
just a thought

Jesse,
Mate intank pump set ups are usually a pricey exercise due to the need to modify the factory Tank. If you decide to do one make sure you pick a pump that is up to the task. Being a N?A engine most should do the trick so pump size and fitment is your biggest concern.
If you decide to ditch the intank idea and fit an external fuel system something luke this should work well.
This is the same set up from a different angle:

Stitts should look much the same altho I think his is mopunted slightly differently.![]()

Rod, is that set up you have noisy at all????
Shane.
ok due to money and too much thinking and complications, im seeing if i can get the factory pickup fitting with a 1/2" fitting welded to it, and ill run external, that setup likes nice, neat too, also would be interested to know if its noisy, crowns are meant to be quiet!
tough exhuast note is a exception of course.
your setup looks great, when ive got the money if the surge is bad, i might go for something similar to that, and it would also be a lot easier to fit when i can get the car to the hoist at work for that kind of stuff too
Shane,
Mate with all the windows down and very light throttle you can hear the pumps but they are not obtrusive and the rear panel is not fitted on the inside of the rear qtr yet.
You can hear them but they don't annoy me and there is always just turning on the stereo![]()
