edit: is that a good price? what do they normally set you back....
is 70mm enough? some ppl have reported losing power going from the stock curved stacks to aftermarket, as the stacks are too short.....
I have been offered a deal on 20V velocity stacks or inlet trumpets (whatever you want to refer to them as) and was wondering if anyone else was interested? The run down is that I can get sets made to suit either silvertop or blacktop throttle bodies in lengths of 35 to 70mm long. This way we can accommodate most peoples needs. Now to do this we need a minimum order of 5 sets and should work out to be around $200 a set for whatever size you want.
I'm just throwing it out there for anyone that may be interested.
Please express your interest here or by PM.

if you jump on hachiroku.com.au one of the members has been organising a flange and trumpet group buy which will come out cheaper then the one that you have been offered jump on there and take a look
Thats not particularly cheap.

Then you don't have to buy them...........
This deal was just offered to me and I have not tirelessly researched into others so don't know what else is out there. They seemed like a decent price to me, choice of length and flange but obviously I am wrong.

I think the guy organising the sets on HR is a bit of a slacker, might not get off the ground
Are these ones fabricated or CNC? Meridian motorsport sells them for 200 a set i believe, and technotoytuning does also (cnc ones)
Bazooka, i wont clog up your thread with rival marketing, but if you have access to a TIG, PM me and i'll hook you up, you will be able to get one set for considerably less than 200 bucks. It is pretty hard finding 5 people for these things, they arent as popular as you might think

Just another option:
I got my 170mm trumpets from JNT in SA for a reasonable price (~$100/set), and flanges from Roadsailing. These were to fit a ST. Roughly 100mm straight & 70mm of tapered length so they can be cut/bent to fit.

AE86 shell - waiting for a donor car from the auctions.
These may not be the cheapest set money can buy but I don't know anyone else offering these in any size or flange (either silvertop or blacktop) combination you want all ready to bolt on. You may be able to go out and buy a standard set off the shelf just like everyone else but the difference here I see is that you can now get EXACTLY what you want for around the same price. Just thought others might be looking for something more specific.
To clarify we do not have to get 5 sets of the same size but can be a combination of any size or flange to make up the 5 (or more) sets.
