Hopeless at welding, but a got a mate thats a mechanic that will do it for no charge on the weekend so its not a problem.
Is it possible to use the stock manifold and weld a new flange onto it? or are these the wrong size??
jesus!! so much to do, dont think 5k is going to be enough, get one thing then u need another.
So people, should it be the GT28RS or the GT2871R.
Main thing is i dont want laggy boost, want it to boost quick like the CT26,even better, but keep it up at high revs aswell. So would be best to suit that?


Nothing worse than a 300hp car with stock suspention. As far as a 'cheap' turbo upgrade goes, I wouldn't put anything off a 180 on it, it's not much of an upgrade for the time and money spent. Look at a T3 off a skyline, they flow ok, but they can be expensive to rebuild because it's not a Garret, and parts can be hard to get (I think the T25s are the same). But if you want an actual upgrade, and you have that kind of money.
