Defi Control Unit: Operation

Hey All,

My new defi gauges arrived today, got a brand spankers oil press & oil temp gauges and a second hand turbo gauge & second hand defi link control unit version 1.

Mocked it all up for a test, everything works sweet can set warn values and read peak values etc etc but my question is this. With the Control Unit 1 how on earth do you get it to play back recorded data?? It records the no problem when you press the button (for 40 seconds - as opposed ot the control unit II's 3 minutes) but i cant figure out how to make it playback. "Record" and "Play" are incorporated into the same button, like the "peak" & "peak reset" functions, where you just hold it down for 2 seconds to reset the peak value memory, but with the data reording, this doesnt seem to work. I have tried pressing all the buttons at the same time and in pairs all the combinations, and tried holding it down. I looked for a manual, but its like defi never even made the control unit 1, can only find in for on control unit 2. Cant find a trace of it anywhere.
