    Default Dead 3YC in a Yn57

    Hi guys,
    i have a YN57 SR5 that was a 3YC Auto..its an 83 model.
The engine is dead..thats how i got the car and i cant be bothered fixing it.

Would a 2SC engine from a corona be a direct bolt in as i can get one real cheap?
or does it have to be a Y series to bolt straight up?

Im not looking at a power conversion like a V6/turbo etc.
I drive a LN130 surf and the YN57 is to be the daily driver.

    thanks in advance

there are companies doing deals at the moment on brand new 4Y engines. one that springs to mind is qmr. the 2s may bolt up, not sure. i know the y motor bellhousing is used when rwding a 3s.
so much stuff. so little time.
