the springs just need time to settle get some km's up and see how it is
okay so ive installed koni yellow ajustables in the fron end of my car...backs to go in soon..
now the fronts were sets to medium stiffness and springs are kings standard height that came with the car.
Since getting them in the ride height has raised almost a inch.. i understand they need to settle but is this all the problem is or is some badly mismatched i.e springs shocks to stiff for springs?

yeah i thought so just not sure
You may also find that your old suspension had sagged a bit giving you that fully hektic low rider look! New standard height kings took my sprinter from way too low to virtual 4wd dimensions, but that's where it should be.

hmm the old shocks were actually as stiff as the konis at standard settings....
its sitting really high still... may be time for springs i think
Did you actually swap the kings in along with the new shocks, or were you running the kings along with the old shocks?
Good point. I assumed springs and shocks went in together, but on a re-read, it looks like the springs were already there. I would expect the springs to be doing the majority of the "holding up", not the new dampers. However, the extra lift from the new dampers might be enough to help the springs out and raise the car a little?Originally Posted by Stefan
Just my guess work.
