    Can someone explain to me how to install an oil pressure mechanical gauge? and how they work?

    they kinda work like a tyre pressure gauge.
    you would take out the pressure sender/switch for your gauge/idiot light, and then screw it into the hole.. usually on or near the oil filter base?
    the thread needs to be the same though..
