I going to head off in 10 to meet up with everyone.

I hope Kedderz has fun with himself making 5 billion dollars this afternoon

I had an absolute blast for my first time. Congrats to Phil on making the 10s.

I'm happy that I reached the goal I set for myself for the night by cracking the 200kmph mark. Got a best time of 12.4 on 2 consecutive runs with a top speed of 201.72kmph, all on street tyres..... :-)

Looking forward to improving the next time I head down. As soon as my friend has his photos up, I'll post a link to his Flickr page, there are a couple of absolute cracking shots in there. I should have a couple of vids uploaded tonight.

    Cheers

Yeah you bastard Panda I ran 199kph twice!!

I did get you ET though with a 12.1......nexens have half the grip the shitty old nankangs had.

Good work though, now get some sticky rubber on there as you have nothing you will break

Was good to see the Canberra boys do well.

Ross, next time you'll be chasing 11's for sure.

Glad to hear everyone made it home safely too.

Lucky for my brother in the 1JZ Lux 'Absolute Towing' had a truck up there so on his 3rd run when the tailshaft spiraled into a length of licorice on the line and then snapped in half the car was able to get home to Canberra

I guess that launch control on the ute really does get some power to the wheels on takeoff. Or at least to the tailshaft anyway

Glad it happened at the start and not the deep end of the track.

Thanks to all who came along, participants and spectators! Impressive to see so many Canberrans making the big overnight trip for some motorsport action. The many hands made work in the pits much easier cheers.

Nice work too Rossco, impressive first effort indeed.

Eddie (Shaun) seemed to have the antilag on the corolla wagon operating pretty sweetly too, I saw an awesome launch against Cuzzo's corolla at the end of the night.

I upped the inp_lim on Shauns car, not only did it get the launches down from 2.2 to 1.8 for the 60' but it also sounded a hell of a lot better

Maybe I should have left 20psi the ute tyres, 14psi obviously provided too much grip for the old girl

Needs a new LSD in the ute too, that clutch type one is crap, an open diff would be more likely to spin both wheels.

I saw the ute pulling bogan-spec commodore single spinners. Time to get the welder out

Those ET Street radials are super impressive, running a 1.49 sixty foot' felt like launching a rocket!

Hey, I remember hearing over the loud speaker last night that there was a DVD that the centre were going to have for sale of the nights participants. I've had a look on their website and there's no information on it. Does anyone know how we can obtain a copy?

    Cheers

I'm not sure, but I was hoping that they were saying that there is video of every run of the night, I would buy that for sure !!

I've just posted a message on the other thread for the videos that Mitch took with my camera. http://www.toymods.net/forums/showth...t=34106&page=9
