I cannot get my thermostat in the rwd 3s setup to open.

The only way around it is a couple of 3mm holes drilled in it. This works fine as in the engine never overheats, but it takes AGES to get up to temp.

I have a pipe from the back of the head going into the back of the water pump, and also a pipe from the heater back to the water pump.

Any suggestions? I've spent hours trying to bleed the thing but it seems to always fail without the holes in the thermostat.
Probably need an air bleed valve like stated above. Same as what you have on commodores.

Where would you put the bleed valve, on the back of the head? Or on the thermostat housing?

Highest point. Depends how yours is set up, im sure in some instances it could require it on both places.

Trying to figure out how to finish the cooling system in my setup, and have been planning to do exactly what Jesse has done in the first pic (which is also what Linden did on his setup).

What I cannot work out is how it will feed water to the turbo if both the pipes draw water towards the pump and away from the turbo, how does the turbo ever get water?

Also, if I do run it the same, I would like to run the heater in with the turbo in side, and heater out with the turbo out side (with T pieces), will this work???

    I'm so confused...

I fed the turbo from the rear outlet at back of head, and then returned into the back of the pump..

So it should work well if I connect the pipes that lead to the rear of the Water Pump (pipe 1 and 2) as the following:

Rear Water Housing -> Turbo Inlet (with Heater Inlet running off T piece), then Turbo Outlet -> Water Pump Pipe 1

Heater Outlet -> Water Pump Pipe 2

Do I need to worry about running coolant to the throttle body?
