Yeah mate, i'll be there. Can you PM your mobile number though just in the off chance something goes wrong (can't see why though).

ToyT18 and I are staying at Whitchy's house Friday night (just off the M7 around Sunnyholt rd). We were planning on being out the door by 6am, which would put us at WP around 8am - 8.30am.

I thought I had another spot secured for you, but at the last minute he said he could not come up with the coin.

    Cheers

In the past I found they didn't open the gates to the track until 8am? So couldn't see much point getting there before.
Is this different for you guys?

    One more sleep! Can't wait

Was up until midnight with ToyT18 and Mike diagnosing a exhaust leak on the 28. Ended up being a snapped stud on the turbo. Had to pull it all off and drill out the stud then retap the thread and assemble again.

Then hit the F3 for some tuning. It's going pretty good but still needs some more tuning which i'll do on the way down to Wakefield.

    Sweet

I hit thesack at aroun 3:30 last night/this morning after fitting an oil cooler to the gazelle & getting it tuned, 202rwkw on 1bar ar 5500rpm - which is where AFR's went from a sweet 11.0:1 to about 15.0:1 need to secure some bigger squirters for it.

Also setup the suspension on the R32 & fit a tailshaft loop and finished off the cooler. Plus a general nut and bolt, was such a long night!

O well all done now inpreparation for tomorrow!

The lady who runs the cafeteria down there called me about 9:30am this morning and asked if anyone needed anything out of the ordinary (vegetarians i suppose, LOL) and she advised to to dress for the snow. Said its currently 4 degrees inside her cafe, and about -4 outside in the wind. My car has a heater

    Cheers,

I was going to flush the cooling system on my car before the weekend, by the sounds of it I dont think im going to have to worry too much about temps.

    OK,

Heres the official rundown. We are motoring from Brookvale at 5am, hoping to be on the M5 by 5:30am, meeting up with 2 other groups on the way to the hume hwy. Would like to arrive around 7:30am, so as to give us time to unload and fuel up that doesnt cut into our track time. As for weather we are looking at a low of -2 degrees and a high of 10 degree towards the afternoon. Chance of rain is a mere 10%, but its highly likly we will encounter frost before 10am. After that we got sunshine all day boys, and next to no winds.

Cafe will be open from 8:15am onwards, and the lovely cafe ladies will have steaming coffee ready from the get go, which im sure we will all need. All food can be bought from the cafe, usual hot food stuffs.

Make sure you have some heavy warm gear, a nice big jacket or similar cause idle times outside of heated cars is gonna be a killer, especially for your spectators!!!

All the big name fuel stations are witihin 10-15 mins of the track, so fuelling is easy. I would suggest some basic tools be brought along, just incase anything simple might go wrong.

MEET POINTS: For all the northern beaches locals, our meet point is Active Automotive 10 William St BROOKVALE NSW 2100, meeting at 4:30am for a 5am SHARP departure. First stop will be shortly after at Cammeray Shell, where we will be meeting the northside boys. This is the SECOND meet point for the northern sydney population. After leaving Cammeray, we will convoy onto the warringah fwy and onto the M5 and then onto the Hume Hwy, where we will meet with the third and FINAL group, the western sydney boys. I should hope to be at the final meet point by 6 - 6:15am, and after that its onto WP. Out stopping point on the hume is gonna be played by ear, so if you want to meet on the Hume with the convoy get in touch with myself or Luke (details on site).

Off track by 4:30pm which leaves a short time for everyone to sort out homecoming tread and fatigues, and then depart.

Hope to see you all there safe and sound, ready for a great day of motorsports

    Regards,
    Hayden

It was a really good day. I think Hayden and the crew did well in organising it especially since it was their first time hosting a track day. We had a good chat before heading out to get everyone on the same level in terms of overtaking, responsibility etc. Thanks so much to you guys for organising the whole thing.

I didnt get a chance to have a chat to the Toymods boys (next time!), but I did have a wander around and had a look at your cars. Soooo nice.

In terms of mayhem stories there was only a couple of incidents. The 32 skyline with the rb25 shat its gearbox after some rear seal problems, and the Maroon RS liberty shat a rear driveshaft towards the end of the day. Luckily both cars were trailered to the track and so could be taken home no worries. Apart from that im pretty sure there was no nasty damage done to any cars...

My PB of the day was 1:17.1 GPS timed. Very proud of my little corolla!

Yeah was an awesome day, thanks to Hayden for organising it all!
It was one of the funnest WP days i've actually had, so much track time, all the cars seemed of a somewhat similar performance, so you were not constantly overtaking people or being over taken.

I didn't beat my PB but got within 1 second of it. 15.7 was my best for the day.

Unfortuantely one of the Toymods group cars didn't drive home Whitchys ae86 busted a turbo and it had to be towed to one of my relo's houses at Goulburn and collected/repaired at a later day.

    Cheers
