22re Egr

Has anyone removed all their emissons crap from a 22RE and if so, have they encountered any problems after doing so?

did it on my 21r-c, and partially on my 22re. Just gotta plug up the holes... Still ran ok.

what was the fuel econ. after you removed the Egr? ive read/heard that it will chew the fuel a little more but give you a little more grunt... true/false?

negligible difference, although I can't remember exactly how good fuel econ/power was prior to removal. Usually egr is all blocked up by now anyway so it's not really working. About as effective as removing it.
