I did a bit of a search trying to find info on witzl conversion but could find nothing. but from what i have seen a tdo4l seems to be the best turbo.
sorry didnt provide enough info at first. My intention is to turbo/supercharge the N/A motor i have in the car, my main concern is keeping the boost low, also will just a rising rate reg be enough for fuel at this low boost level, thats why i was looking to see what witzl had done. Also thought of the factory super charger but seems that they boost higher than that level on the 4agze. would also be good to run the super charger and be able to turn it on and off when needed.

Theres an ae101 4agze half cut going on ebay now your better of doing a 4agze conversion then a 5psi turbo set up imo.

Its only at $2650 now no bids pretty reasonable price.

By the way about turning the supercharger on and off theres no point really if your worried about petrol. I am running an ae101 4agze with a bigger pulley kit and I drive it hard and normal and get around 400km to a 50L tank just depends how you drive it really.

I currently run this exact setup.
100kw engine with bolt on turbo kit. Running GZE computer/wiring/coilpacks etc..

I dont have a rising rate fuel regulator or even a surge tank. It works perfectly and i drive it everyday. I keep the boost at about 5psi, and it has never had any problems, goes alot harder than a stock smallport.

It was already setup when i got the car. I think the guy who built it is on here, if not hes on twincam.org.
It seems pretty normal on fuel, the odometer doesnt work so i cant measure it though. I have had no problems with it since ive owned it, and neither did the previous owner. Its been going for about 2 or 3 years now with this setup i think.
Its running a bolt on Blitz turbo kit, im pretty sure its a K24 turbo. Nice and small for daily driving and low boost

That sounds like a KE70 Corolla to me.
Car was built by a friend of mine in Brisbane early 2005
Turbo is indeed a K24 that should really be on a Starlet engine. Its got very little lag but runs out of puff way too fast. Its done many laps of the now defunct Darlington Park Raceway in Qld and from memory made 104rwkw @ 4psi

I even have incar videos on youtube of the engine in the original KE70 before he swapped everything to a less rusty shell that its now in.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me then a frontal lobotomy

That car is the one I built.

Standard smallport 4age from an SX corolla running the ECU, coils, ignitor, CAS, injectors and map sensor from an AE92 Levin GTZ 4agze. Tiny Blitz K24 turbo on a cast manifold with external gate and 2.25" exhaust, modified Trust cooler and Blitz BOV. Fun car to drive and did indeed make 104kw atw on 4psi back in the day

I guess the hard part would be to find all the electrics to upgrade at a sensable price.

or just go 12psi with a 4age and blow any 4agze away for much less $$$ than $2560.

    my first post:
its using a hks 2540 turbo and i just got 220km from half a tank (~15litres).
just needed to swap the injectors for GZE injectors, and add the boost control solenoid and trim knob.
we'll see how long it lasts
