4AGE odd spark issue need help.

At my witz end can not start my rolla, the car has been in storage for a while. The battery is fully charged, have checked all relays, fuses etc all ok. I have power to the igniter and coil (not sure if i should have power to coil,new to this), ok here is the odd part I only get one spark when i first turn the key to crank the the motor then nothing, i am thinking the igniter or coil may be faulty any ideas on checking the ignter any feedback very much appreciated.

is this an AE86?? If this is in an AE86, or an AW11... there are diagnostic manuals online. The manuals have a series of checks you can put each component through to check function

Came across this single spark problem recently on a friends car and it was throwing up code 6 :
RPM signal. No Ne, G signal (engine revolution sensor) signal to ECU within several seconds after engine is cranked. No Ne, G signal (engine revolution sensor) signal to ECU within several seconds after engine reaches 1,000rpm. 1.Distributor circuit. 2.Distributor. 3.Starter signal circuit. 4.ECU.

I found the white wire at the dizzy plug had broken coming out of the yellow plug after rejoining the wire the engine fired right up.
