I did the same thing to my Mazda a long while ago. I put packing tape over the hole and drove it to the wreckers (10mins away) and found a cap that fitted. Packing tape was starting to melt but it stopped my bonnet being covered in oil.
The oil cap off a 1MZFE looks the same as a 20v cap, V6 Camry.
JZ MZ VZ and of course 4AGE-20 have the oil filler cap you need.
I've done this before, luckily i didn't run the sparkplug cover on my 16v and the cap fell in there. But I didn't notice until the valley filled with oil and smoke was pouring out of the engine bay![]()

You can get replacement oil caps from repco / superheap / autobarn man.
nah i tired already thats the 1st thing i did. ther ae101 cap is screw in wher mine is a twist in. my 3sgte is screw in as most toyotas are but the silvertop has tobe difficult doesnt it....
hardest engines to find parts for 1st=3sgte 2nd=20v4age haha..... thats the about the only good thing about owning a nissan haha

hmm... i was sure we used to sell the twist type at superheap.
Just so i can be of some assistance I checked the EPC for you. The 20V oil cap part number is 12180-46010 and is the same one used on the 2JZ in a JZA80 Supra and a few different Camry models running VZ V6 engines. May as well try Toyota, they might not want an arm and a leg for it.
yeh im goin to try toyota... nah the jz etc type didnt fit they are all screw in... thanks for the help guys a couple of pm came throught with caps now just to see if ther right

Go to a wrecker and ask for an oil filler cap for a V6 camry... Doesn't matter whether it's the 3VZ or 1MZ... They both fit...
nup they dont already tried that option this is killing my social life now. im getting 1 of another member now but i would like to now how2 get another one

When you ever get a oil filler cap, you should attach a chain to it like the pens at the bank, that way you won't have to go through this ordeal again. Just get a cap already, lol
