mz10 soarer - dash length

i want that dash in my z20 O_O

hey mate, just been alittle wet to do so, were you looking for the overall width of the whole dash or just the dims. of the dash cluster its self, can get you both i also have a spare soarer dash (altho very cracked) with most of the panels and digital cluster.

will measure it up when i get home... with out getting soaked

just some quick measurements...

dash cluster is 410x140mm
and dash length is (in total) 1390mm give or take a few mils at its widest.

looks like i'll have to go ra60 if i want to change dash.
total dash length of a corona is 1320mm! that's a good 70mm difference!

might not even bother at this stage, but seeing as I have to pull out my current dash to redo the wiring, I still might give another dash a crack.

I'd be surprised if the RA60 dash was thinner.

Mainly because the MA61 and MZ10 share the same floor pan, and thus should be identical in dash widths.

ra60 dash is 1325mm in total length, already had it measured up

you can always cut it down... its not like the dash is narrower than yours, the end bits just meet up with the door trim so in theroy you could get away with cutting upto about 60 eash side... maybe

also might be more worth wild tracking down a digi corona dash or carina which might fit also.



similar to a rona dash by anychance? looking at mounts and size/dials, etc...

corona digi-dashes are about as rare as hens teeth, they came out in some olympic special edition st141 corona :/ i knew one toymodder with one, but he was in WA and I have no idea if he's about these days

and you bring up a good point about cutting it on the edges! i guess i could get it to fit, it's just my friend has a spare mz10 soarer dash + digi cluster, which is why i was asking

if you can live with rough edges then its always an easy option, just as long as a few mounting points line up or you can get it in relatively easy then it shouldnt matter when the doors are closed

i had a y31 cedric with a y32 vh41de v8 in it the last owner put in as well as a y32 dash... the dash shapes are pretty different, pretty much the difference between z10 and z20 (square vs round) and it wasnt a good fit...
