    Default aw11 engine mounts

    Hi i am pretty sure the old engine mounts on the aw11 are starting to go. its the torque mounts i am unsure where to get a new set from does anyone know where to get some new ones from?

    if you can bare to not drive the car for a week.... go buy some sika flex 255 extra and remove the front and rear mounts (use stands to support engine). clean the rubber in the mounts with some prepsol and fill them with the sikaflex. leave for a week (i left mine for a week, wasnt useing car and wanted to make sure they were cured) to go off and put em back in.

    yeah those mounts are notorious for failing in AW11s
    i used windscreen urethane for mine. its also possible to get them custom made with nolathane.
    just make sure that whatever you do, you do them in pairs. toyota engine mounts work as a pair

    what mounts are we talking about here? front and rear or left and right? front and rear can be found at twosrus.com. left and right..... ive only been able to source from toyota and of course they are way overpriced.

    the front and rears are the ones that fail most
    and "torque" suggests those ones
