if you changed exhaust cams.. then it would be very easy to bump the CAS gear when installing..
what angle is it on timing light? (while bridging T? and E pins)

umm i dont know aye , its just that i didnt mark the CAS before i did the camsidiot then i tried to crank car and the CAS is out with the crank and cams
You need to re-install the cas. Not point doing half a job.
Consult the 4age guide. Its very similar.

nah mate stock 4agze ecu afm , il read the guide now
set the engine to TDC, follow the guide posted above and that should fix it.
The guide doesnt show anything about the CAS. ive did everything to get me this far... crank pulley is set to TDC and with the cam pulleys aligned, with the timiing cover markings
My understanding was that i needed to adjust the CAS to suit the crank and cam pulleys.
pull the cas out, there's a line in the housing near the shaft, and a mark on the gear on the end. Line the mark on the gear up with the line in the housing, install to the head.
ok thats what i was after jp ur a legend mate...So there more then one way it can go in ? ill will be doing this tomorrow
yes, it's easy to get it a tooth out and then it wont start...
