    Default Parts Req'd for 1JZ -> W58

    Hi lads,

Rex be wanting to compile a complete list of the parts req'd to fit the W58 to a 1JZ/2JZ.

So far He has in his mind:

    - N/A JZA80 2JZGE bellhousing
    - N/A JZA80 2JZGE flywheel
    - N/A JZA80 2JZGE clutch slave

Is there anything in the front of the gearbox that is different and also required? IE Thrust bearing carrier, slider, fork etc?

Are you limited to any particular W58?

Am looking at ordering a few complete genuine conversion packages so need the complete list of parts that will be required.

    Thanks Muchly

    Rex

Dont bother with the slave, use an MA61 one, fits perfectly.

Carrier, slider and fork are all interchangable betweeen any W58.

EDIT: My 2JZGE>W58 is using the following
    • 2JZ-GE Flywheel
    • ARP Flywheel Bolts (4AGE)
    • 2JZ-GE Bellhousing
    • MA61 Clutch Slave

Thats all you will need to convert, apart from a W58.

    P.s. you have a PM.

it should - W55/57/58 have the same bolt pattern on the front of the box (for attaching to the bellhousing).

Just did the conversion in my ra28

$475 for a brand new bell housing
$500 for a custom lightened flywheel
$580 for an excedy button disc and 1000kg pressure plate
$10 or something for the spigot bearing
$20 - $30 for the new throwout bearing
$40 for a set of ARP flywheel bolts

    all bolts together just nicely
