Garth - just wondering what happens with spots given up - re cash paid. Did enough people come on the day or were we still short a few?

what happens is if no-one can take your spot, you lose your money... someone has to be out of pocket somewhere

not if the spot was filled by someone else. I know a few spots were given up and a few of those were filled...but wasnt too sure how many.
If no one filled the spot then too bad....but if they did would be great to get the cash back
anyway....ill wait and see

Yeah, just need to sit down and sort it out, had a number of changes in the last week and money coming through last minute, as i mentioned to geoff on friday i think i might've been able to fill his spot - i think there's really only one spot i wasn't able to fill.

I am however still waiting on one payment to 'clear', i need to go back through my banking and double check payments as i think i'm still out of pocket a bit.

it stopped turning over when i was backing it onto the hoist

think it cracked a piston or something, no idea and im not planning on pulling it down to find out.

the luckydip engine is a rocket though.

had choice of paying $600 for a good runner or a freebie with rust in the bores (none that i saw with a scope) the thing now rips 2nd gear

still needs a BEAMS by the next trackday (or turbocharging) shall see how much time ive got.

the fri night entertainment was great (the bit i didn't sleep thru anyway) and definately up for the next one.

Bit of a delay on getting the videos up - damien's been bailed up and off work with a busted ankle, he finally got it x-rayed yesterday and found out he's shattered his heel bone into about 6 or 7 pieces. Gone into hospital today for a couple of days, i'd say after that he's got 10-12 days of house arrest so i'd expect some productivity on the video front then.

Just turns out that way - same as only having 3 days booked this year; not planned just happens. At least it's not a problem for us. And you can't whinge about uni exams when you get uni holidays - I'd kill to have those back...
