you bought the gears for a reason why not use them for that purpose? toyota cam timing is average at best (good for emissions but not power).

if your rear housing is the skyline T3 style maybe a VG30 or RB25 housing could be the way to go? cheap S/H and probly only cost about $60-80 to get it machine to suit the profile of your rear wheel.

abently, if an engine is setup correctly for good response and power the point of highest restriction "should" be the turbine housing, if its not then the rear housing is either too big or your cam profiles/timing is not providing you with the max airflow through the head, (this doesn't always apply to drag cars)

    cheers

exactly my reaction! FUCK!, the invoice is damaged/worn out so couldnt read the actual specs of the turbo build, id always just assumed it had the 64,

so called GCG with the invoice number and they told me the 48!

i had a heart attack, but kinda relieved that its that and not something else!

will get the .64 once i have fun racing it the way it is now, already wound down the boost to 15-16psi

I was expecting it to make more power as well :S. Can't complain about the power it was making the other day though. Its a bit of a weapon. Shotgun another ride now its been tuned again though.

Got the passenger seat belt in there yet? I hear you'll make another 20kw if you swap me diffs as well

your missing out on a shitload of midrange by the looks of that graph.

it should have about 180rwkw at 5200rpm with a more open rear housing and the cam gears set correctly.
