    Default flycutting pistons

Hi guys, just wondering how much it would be to fly cut pistons?
3t/2tgeu hybrid. bsically it'll be 2tgeu with 3t crank and pistons.
also will I need to bring the head along so they can match the valve angle to the piston?
    Thanks
    David

From memory mine was about $150 to get them flycut. As the Guys around here don't know the spec on the Head i took mine in so they could measure the valve size and the amount of clearance required.

The price will vary from place to place ofcoarse.

often a piston with the original valve reliefs is a good sample to go by for angle.

the head with cams installed or cam specs is a good measure for depth.
the headgasket thickness and amount shaved off head or block also
    affects the valve clearance.

just make sure the crown is thick enough to flycut down, depending what
brand and type of pistons you have will determine how far you can flycut down
to without leaving the reliefs too thin and weak.
