    which part number?

actually Requiem is half right, that 43330 is the lower ball joint AND the lower control arm.

If you mean the steering knuckle, where the brake caliper bolts onto, then what you're looking at is the part marked by 43211/43212 in that picture.

    43211-14052 - Steering Knuckle Right Hand Side (JZA70/MA70 88-93)

    43212-14022 - Steering Knuckle Left Hand Side (JZA70/MA70 88-93)

What i need is to bolt ma70 330mm discs onto my soarer hubs for which ive been told i need a ma70 bracket for as mine are for the smaller discs

edit - aand the part number for the "brackets" so i can forward that to the guy whos wrecking his ma70 so he can take them off

Didnt think that MA70 discs were 330.

    Just looked back:

However the fronts are different... The GA70/Z20s have smaller disks (270mm) than the JZA-MA70s (300mm), therefore the bracket that holds the caliper to the hub is different.

To use JZA-MA70 disks on a z20 you will need the bracket from the JZA-MA70... The piston/caliper is the same, so you can swap the bracket without disconnecting the lines if you dont want to bleed the system...
What i wonder is if that holds true for the non turbo models (well only the MA70 - not sure if there was a non turbo MZ20 and if there is it wont be able to be complied on the power to weight criteria) as i doubt toyota would go to the extent (for cost reasons) of putting the bigger brakes on the non turbo variant.

yeah sorry 300 not 330. its more the fact that ma70 slotted discs are available and larger ;-)

the brake calipers bolt directly onto the hub. the 'bracket' you are referring to is part of the hub assembly which i pointed out above. the part numbers for those two parts of the hub are as above.

that is the central part of the hub where the upper control arm bolts to, along with the lower control arm, and the brake caliper as well.

the wheel bearing, the hub itself, and brake rotors all slot into the hole in the middle of this 'bracket'

Oh ok, I was under the impression that its was teh brackets that hold the caliper not the hub mountings. I'm assuming you've done it so Kedders listen to him. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

actually i think requiem was getting confused with the nightpager conversion...

i actually havent done this but i know the way everything bolts together extremely well and i have a spare set of JZA70 hubs out the side of the house ready to do this conversion with (when i have time!).

also i had the Toyota EPC in front of me which is an advantage
