I agree. Even at revving section before you drag, I only ever chirp it. Cannot bring myself to do that to my car. Like that chick driver who you could tell just had one foot on the brake, one foot on the accellerator and was just letting it bounce of the rev limiter. haha went to a skid pan day once, the chicks love the limiter, specially helps when they were driving their boyfriends or sons cars, they have no idea what they are doing.
I cringe at some of the guys drifting, one has gone through a couple RB26 builds in his r33, I swear he bounces it on the limiter for 90% of the track, ffs either feather the throttle or use a taller gear.

... i dont really think the marshall was being a "cockhead".... he's doing his job and that is to uphold the rules and regs, keep things moving quickly, uphold safety levels and try to avoid the VERY VERY expensive timing equipment from being damaged...
