    Talking winton historics

    hey guys
    what about a cruze to winton this year for the historics 24+25th may
    this is a great event real cars real racing ,minis, monaros , mustangs, all on at the same time , non of this commodore falcon taxi type racing here ,this is the real deal

    You just going to go up for a day and come back, or will you split it?

    Definitely up for coming along. The little KE10 will struggle with three hours on the freeway, but no harm in trying

    hi
    i have a friend that lives in benalla that i stay with i go up on the fri night or sat morning
    then i cut loose a bit on sat night there is plenty of room just bring sleeping gear and drinks

    very friendly little pubs up there
    ask mr moparman and merc blue they were nearly raped
    ian
    ps if anyone needs a ride, i usualy go by myself ,so there is room for two or three

    i might be keen on a day trip. or not. its a few hours there and back. also depends if i have a bit of uni work or not

    I am likely to be a day trip too. You already know the joys of KE10 slowness, so you can grab a lift if you like!

    ke10 and slow don't compute for me.....i've got the 'massive' 3k with electronic ignition, which means tyre frying power in every gear except second third and fourth!!!!!

    but they can be a little sluggish compared to an ra23...

    i am going to try and get there fri night
    thats the best pub night
    otherwise if my wife is coming , i will be lucky to get away before lunch on sat
    does anyone elses missus always makes you late , when there is anything to do with cars on

    Do what my brother-in-law did one xmas, told the women in the house he was leaving at 6am sharp with or without them. He left on time, only trouble was he had no help to put up his family size tent and everything that goes with it! Backfired big time cos all the stuff was in his boat and he couldn't use it till they arrived at 3pm that arvo.
