I just told my old man i was going to this and he said that he was planning on going too. My uncle will be there as well i think.

What's everyone doing about accommodation? I am considering staying the night somewhere. Is it usually booked out by now? Where are good places to stay?

Hey Ian, I will be up there all weekend cos my brother is racing his '64 Cooper S in the Touring Cars.....will be going up early Sat morning so one way or another I will be able to catch up with all you guys sometime over the weekend........i'm staying in Wangaratta so may miss the festivities in Benalla on Sat night though.........will be a great weekend as always.

Hey Slim..........you should still be able to get accommodation somewhere........Benalla usually books out early cos it is a stones throw to the track but you may have some more luck in Wangaratta which is 20 mins or so up the road........stay with Ians friend and that would save on the hassles.

    Ian,
I checked my Diary and im in on this for sure.
Not sure when i will head up, will know closer to time.
Im pretty sure theres ALWAYS room at the track camping ground.. if im in the MR2 i will pack a swag and if i have to will sleep on the side of the road somwhere.

But local girls are very accomidating.... if your not fussy.

    Slim,
Also if 'ians friends' daughter is around it becomes a far more attractive option.
