Default RN41 diff into AE71, What to do with brakes?

Hey i'm putting a Hilux RN41 G diff in my AE71, I'm not overly fussed with doing a brake upgrade, i just don't want mass rear bias, What would be the best way to go about doing this?

Redrill the 5 stud Drums to 4 stud and use existing drums? ( I have some very nice wheels, so i'm not willing to put up with the 5 stud)

Transfer the stock AE71 drum setup to the G Axles?

Convert to disk? If there is a very easy way to do it!

If you could reply with explinations on how to carry out the work, this would be very much appreciated

    any other ideas?

    Cheers
    Brendan

ma70 rear brakes would be the easiest way but you will probly need a bias valve in the rear line.

in the conversions section there should be a full article on it.

I've seen this conversion before, its not exactly easy and doesn't really solve my problem, as i don't want 5 stud brakes.

I don't need a brake upgrade, i just want to know the easiest way of converting a G diff to an AE71 without having my rear wheels lock up every time i slow for a set of traffic lights.

If its something i can do on a weekend, without having to wait for parts i would do it, but i have to stay 4 stud.

Was there a 4 stud Hiace with drums that don't look like there of an XF falcon

just redrill the discs to 4 stud, easy as to do or get done.

being that you have chosen to run a comercial style diff the only thing that will be a "bolt on" will be massive arse drums, thats my only reason for suggesting the ma70 stuff.

you could easily adapt the r31 disk setup on the back but its not exactly a bolt on job and figuring out handbrake cables licks nuts. check thetoyman75's ta22 buildup for abit more info on it.
