so the microtech is losing power when you switch to start? source 12v from somewhere else which is switched on with ignition and doesnt cut out when switched to ON.
i think that makes sense?
hey,
I have reinstalled my microtech into my car and i have a problem, well what happens is that the car runs fine but there is a problem when going to start it. Well when the ign is on the green microtech light is on and when i go to crank the motor over the green light turns off and the motor just stays there cranking and doesn't start. And if i stop and try and crank again, sometimes the green light stays on and the car starts up. If anyone has any ideas or think they know whats wrong please let me know. Also I will try a different ignition supply and double check the battery lines to the microtech as they move when the motors cranking so it could be a loose connection somewhere.
cheers,
David

yer man, but it doesn't turn off all the time...sometimes it turns off and sometimes it stays on while cranking...ill source another ign line and see how i go, this could be the main problem because this is the only thing different then last time when it was working perfect.Originally Posted by Kedderz
