    Default hiace tune up

hi everyone, the other day i bought a hiace with some friends with the idea of using to go on beach trips up north etc.

the car its self is ok i guess (for $400 you can't expect much)

now i'm mainly looking at giving the engine a bit of a tune up with out spending much money on it, its done 450,000k's and i think the only work done to it was a head gasket some 100,000k's ago.

engine ran fine driving home from sydney to newcastle, bit gutless at times but it ran.

what should i look at doing my "to do" list so far is:
    spark plugs
    oil + filter
    injector/carby cleaner
    radiator flush
    new coolant

another problem i've noticed is that if its ran for a while its hard to turn off, as in the engine just keeps spluttering along trying to die, i assume this is from carbon build up. should i go about buying some of the "subaru upper engine cleaner" to hopefully get all the carbon out?

is there any particular order i should do most of these things especially if the upper engine cleaner is involved? or anything i may have missed?
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are

    What engine is it?

But yeah do the whole carby clean thing first before plugs etc.
If it is carby and not injected then maybe the fuel cut solenoid (Assuming it has one) isn't working or the idle is to high causing the running on issues.

Leads and dizzy cap should also be changed if they look suspect but seems like a good start you have there anyway.
My sig has been pruned as it was over 5 lines long.
