DIII is what i use in my auto.
that's probably because it was made before D III came out. DIII supersedes DII.ok so as i took the drain nut off of the transmission pan I noticed the nut itself is marked "D II"
toyota type 4 exceeds dextron3 standards anyway but it doesnt work the other way around
I cant remember but its something about being different viscosities when cold
If you put in d3 into a car that needs type4 it burns out in about 10000kms
