Well it's a little cloudy over my way, but let's hope mother nature is kind to us today...

Although, according to the 'BOM', it's gonna be at least a slightly cloudy day with some light showers.

Either way Toyota Fest '08 is ON as planned, so I'll be seeing all you crazy Toyota people real soon!

Budgie is currently being hammered by a storm.... I can see on the BOM radar, Sydney looks fine enough, but the coast has shit weather as per usual.

Enjoy the day people, hope it stays dry for you.

Did you smack said retard in the head for forgetting? My guess is that you could've still driven it here because they were still taking entries a bit later than planned.

All in all a pretty damn good day, despite the freakin weather not knowing what it wanted to do, it was overcast all day long, and from the time I arrived to the time we all left I didn't see a drop of rain fall. But we know what the weather would be like as soon as we decide to move the display outside. Great to catch up with lots of people again, had somewhere between 70-80 cars displayed, but given that the weather was so fickle it's still a damn nice turnout with some very sweet rides in the mix. Well-organised once again and thanks very much to the Toymods board for doing another great job this year.

For the 5th year running we're heading back to the original home of Capitol Motors Toyota and all Toyotaowners are welcome.

The previous 4 years of our Annual event have proved very successful....
For some reason Dav and Stitty were announcing that it was the 6th ToyotaFest, and I'm pretty sure this year was the 5th year it's been on.... anyone??

Regardless.... top event, good day, great cars and people, worth coming down from the North Coast for.

Yup, twas a great day! Rain managed to hold off all day, and we had pretty much all cars undercover anyway

I have to say thanks for the organisers for putting in the effort to make the event what it was, and a great turnout from alot of different clubs this year, I'd say more than 50% of the cars were new and I'd not seen them before. Particularly loved the work from RadRollaz and the Corona/Toyopet cars, really impressive fellas, hope to see you again next year.

My only suggestion for next year is put up some billboardy signs up near the shops telling people the event is on, whilst we had plenty of foot traffic, if you didn't know the event was on, you wouldn't have known we were there unless you parked downstairs. I liked the way we didn't have to pay as we arrived, that made entry and setup much easier!

Also good to see the Supra boys and girls do well, we had about 20 at my count from all models and ages.

Next year I'll try to bring more Supras along

Anyway, since I didn't have a camera, where's the pics

Oh my last plug...there was an awesome quality and mix of cars at this years event, don't forget the Toyota Nationals on the Easter long weekend 2009. It's like Toyotafest, just all weekend long! It'd be great to see some of you make the trip out.
