Hi,
I am after some recommendations for a place to freshen up my 2tg twincam head in SA.
I am not after a race spec head, just a crack test, change over of old seals, inspection and possible replacement of parts such as valves etc and a clean/acid dip if needed.
I'd prefer someone who has worked on these heads before and also any ballpark figures on how much i would expect to pay on a basic freshen up.
I will also get the block cleaned if they can do this.
Thanks,
Pete

Adelaide Cylinder Heads on Port road, is who I use consistently.
Cost is usually very competitive, just get a quote over the phone and then drop of the Head that afternoon, as they sometimes do under-cut their set prices depending upon various factors.

Cheers and + rep for you. I called them all and got some rough prices. There is a bit of fiddly time consuming work to be done with the shim under bucket style of head. I will go a couple of them and hopefully have it done sometime soon.
Cheers
