need help to decide on engine

Ive decided to keep my rt40 corona and want to put a newer engine into it. These are the ones ive thouhgt about if anyone can help or make a suggestion ill be much thank full.

*1GGTE
*4AGE/ 4AGTE
*3SGTE
*2TG with injection and quad throttle bodys

Even if anyone has put a different type in let me know
There will be a after market comp to run it.

From memory the RT40 has a pretty short engine bay, so methinks a 1G would be a PITA to fit. 3S is a nice idea but pretty expensive to convert to RWD. 2T-G is old and parts are getting harder to get. I'd vote 4A-GZE, it's a nice compact engine with decent power, and makes it easy to upgrade to a 4A-GTE in future.

There was one at Toyfest with a 20V in it and it looked very tidy.
Being such a clean looking engine it suited the car well.
