It scares me that someone could do the conversion and NOT notice that it would be a problem
I did this:

Just the way you wrote the first i somehow got the impression you had been driving it for a while and only just noticed.
My mistake.
If doing it again, i would improve on what ive done in the above photo... i dont think the bolt will have enough shear strength.

why not use the original mount and have an S shape bent into the panhard to clear the diff? thats what i did with ibz's 23. it clears fine and i doubt the strength would have changed.
the commodore ones i do have a bend to clear the exhaust and out of the 400+ units ive done over the last 4yrs not 1 has come back.

linden, touble with bending the panhard rod in my mind is that' it's going to effectively shorten it. and with out an effective way to measure, there's no way to compensate. and when you say put an S-bend in it... are you refering to a dog-leg? or more of a U shape so the ends are still aligned?
anyone had problems with the handbrake cable? i'm not up to that stage yet, but i'm sure i heard someone mention problems in that department...

kinda like this _____/--------- if you know what i mean.
i make them adjustable at the same time so ive never had to worry about the length issue, besides that when you fit a hilux diff in there the car is generally lowered either b4hand or during the conversion thus needing a shortened panhard anyway.
H/Brake cables will be a pita but i need to do rod's soon so ill get him to put up a post with what ive done.

I've got a major problem with the hand brake cable too.
I dont' have a handbrake.
So, if your making a h/brake cable on rods, could you make 2 linden and I'll buy it from you? I need to get one for my car.
Ironically I have the same panhard rod issue too.
I'll a handbrake cable as well
