So do you want to get these lights running or not?

BTW, I'm an admin and I'm not locking this thread, and I was not having a dig at you per se. This isn't a dig either and you shouldn't interpret it as such.
Most forums have a certain culture. The Toymods forum has a culture of its own too. It's entirely up to you if you choose to get something out of this or not. While people may not be the friendliest if they think you're talking shit, they are also the same people that are the most likely to help you out if you give them the impression that you're trying to achieve something reasonable.
Just as a hint, what you wrote in your occupation isn't something that is regarded as highly desirable within the culture on this forum.

So... wanna wire up those fog lights? (properly?)

Well, all the information is in this thread on how to properly wire up the lights. No more information is really needed, the thread may as well be locked IMHO.

Student was only half of the occupation... the other part was slightly misguided - wisely it was changed
    They call it HELP now...

So are those lights running yet?

    Was it student/drifter? lol

Well lets hope it actually gets out and drifts coz there have been too many wanting to and not actually doing it.

Regardless of what happens with the lights, im sure they will be made legal (so that the fog lights are separately switched from the main lights) if he ever gets pulled up for it.

"Student by day/Street drifter by night" is what it was.

    Enough said.

Just found something relevant regarding the switching and it seems that the switch is on the indicator stalk. Look up "stevevp" and he my be able to help you out

    From his site:

He doesnt have a JDM indicator stalk, he just has the lights. Hence the switch on the indicator stalk is a moot point.

Just a suggestiong if he wants it to look factory - and a contact to see how stevevp got it working (especially since his MX83 is 1UZ powered so it wouldnt be using the JZX81 wiring loom).

Where the switch is on the factory setup is completely irrelevant - it still switches the way it should regardless of where you put it. It's just a convenient spot.. that's all..
I may have a JZX81 stalk hanging around somewhere
