You need to remove the turbos as the standard dump uses studs, they can be wound out but is a pita of a job.

    Try this as a guide

the nuts do look funky but it turns out that either 12 or 14mm spanners fit

I did this the other day, it's an absolute bitch because it's hard to get a spanner into the tight places under the turbos. Make sure you spray the studs with WD40 or something, take the standard nuts off and use two slimmer ones (that fit better) to remove the stud.

Oh yeah, I just remembered, to get to that one under the rear turbo, I did it last after removing all the other studs then I could pivot the Y-pipe a little to get some room.

Ratchet spanners.. I used those and also cut an open ender in half so it would fit behind there. Done this a few times now, alot easier to take it apart than put it together!

Im just about to put on twin dumps aswell sometime this week, it be easier cause im taken out the engine . What i was thinking today just standing there looking at for 10mins trying to figure out how to fit the twin dumps in is to remove that double bolt thing (the on the rear turbos) and just use the head bolts one. Cause them bolts thats on the turbos now that what causing it not to go in and if you do remove them it should slide staight in. But qoute me if im wrong though as i havnt got to it yet.

    Any other suggestions though?

by the way indeed its gonna be fustrating lol

If your taking the engine out it should be easy as

I should of mentioned when I did mine I had the turbos off assembled the whole thing outside the engine bay and with a little effort got it all to slot in and bolt up.
