That's pretty amazing Manny....over 30rwkw gain in some of that mid range area!!
I just need a stable peak torque and peak hp but this graph is enough to have a look at some plugs now i think...ta.
Thanks Manny, Your dyno chart was the main reason i went straigh for iridiums when i got my car
Also, I seen some NGK BKR6eix that had over 20,000km on them in a 270rwkw soarer( 20psi twin hybrids), get replaced with NGK coppers degapped to 0.7mm put in and run.. The dyno guy was sure they would make more power than the iridiums... It didnt change at all.. IN fact the Power graph was lower in the midrange and didnt quite peak as high as the 20,000km old Iridiums, it fell 4rwkw short.... I dont have photos to prove it, but seen it for myself.
Another reason i run them.
11.72 @ 116.7mph = Quickest Stock Turbo Jzz30 series SoarerAnd 1st into the 11's
WOOOT!!!
Still going good![]()

R.I.P.
I'm a fan of Denso platinums, mainly due to their resilience to fouling. This is in part due to (in my experience) being able to run one temp range HOTTER than the equivalent copper plug without any adverse effects, ie: a 6 range platinum in place of the 7 range copper.
I've not found a need to go any smaller than 0.8mm gap with 20psi in either my 4AGTE or 1JZGTE provided that your ignition system is in good working order.
Maybe similar results for the iridiums, since they have similar composition properties & the small diameter electrode also? Although perhaps being able to run one heat range hotter may not apply to the iridiums with the really tiny electrode diameter (Like the IRIWAY plugs which I think are 0.4mm)
on the 3sge altezza motor was using std platium plugs for a about 10 mins and lost all of the tips on the dyno .tried the iridium they lasted 20 min before i lost the tips of these.
tried the ngk but in 3 ranges colder down from std ,these cost about 2.5 each i get 1 year out of these for the na .but i dont melt tips any more and with 25 for plats and 35 for the irids
i havnt been able to find irids in the ngk cold range that i run as yet ,currently running ngk 9 s
as soon as i do will be back on the dyno to test and to see if the shell 100 will attack these at all

What is the NGK part number of the plugs you use now?
